Dream-Drops & Doodles on Okra Facilitated by Bea Ngozi Udeh
Bea Ngozi Udeh has written an immersive poetry collection that makes big kids want to dive in, doodle and decode. Each poem has been crafted using seaside adventures, headline news stories and reflections of childhood.
Full of quirky language and susurrating narratives crossing from Nigeria to Norfolk. From Japan and back to Derby, this is a mind affirming and visual feast served with hand drawn tales of sliced okra, of course.

Burning Spring is the inspiration for this mid-season workshop led by Creative Producer and funky protagonist, Bea Udeh. Bea enjoys producing a range of activities and events including leadership and creative writing workshops to encourage personal development and increase your confidence.
In 2019, Bea published her first collection, Dream-Drops and Doodles on Okra, which includes doodles to colour in beside her poetry to immerse yourself in.
Bea has put together an interactive session where you will:
- Explore your creativity through critical analysis of some of Bea’s poetry
- Find inspiration to produce poetry from everyday objects and natural things like okra
- Create your own doodle poem to take home and frame
This is the time to rid your winter blues and embrace your creativity with Bea in the burning spring.
