Every Tuesday afternoon between 3pm and 6pm in the Tea Room

Do you want to learn how to Crochet? or Knit? or just enjoy working on your own project while chatting with a pot of tea or coffee? You may want some help or guidance if you get stuck on a difficult pattern…

The Teacher, Claire, arrives at 3pm and stays until 6pm, so drop in any time and stay as long as you wish. Call in after work or come for the whole 3 hours – its entirely up to you. If Claire teaches you something, she will charge you £2, otherwise its completely free.

Coffee, Tea, Cold Drinks, Cake and Sandwiches are always available in the Tea Room.

Claire brings alone loads of patter books, so you can chose a new project. We have a big box of balls of wool you can buy to get started and Claire has a collection of every possible size of knitting needles and crochet hooks you can use or buy. Make something for you or the family, or get started on some Christmas gifts or decorations and swap ideas with the other ladies. Their are also some lovely pattern books in the bookshop, so you may find just what you wanted!

Park behind the shop, or in the side road, or in the Anchor Inn Pub car park opposite. -Its OK, we have a good arrangement with them, so they won’t mind. For anyone with mobility issues, we have a disability ramp from the car park, down one step to the path leading to the shop door. The ramp is suitable for scooters, wheelchairs, rollator walkers and pedestrians. The toilet isn’t wide enough for a wheelchair, but it has handrails around the toilet for lowering and raising.
