Rider Haggard story about the hunter Allan Quatermain. The story involves Quatermain going on a hunting expedition, then taking part in an attack on a native kraal to rescue a captured English hunter and avenge Maiwa, an African princess whose baby has been killed. 

In 1888, H.R. Haggard's short novel, 'Maiwa's Revenge' was published. In the first half of, the story, author narrates hunting expedition of Allan Quatermain. Just for fun Allan and his friends killed a large numbers of birds. It's miserable, for the elephant's tusk Allan killed three elephants. These thrilling stories stun readers mind. In the second half of the story, Allan helped a tribal woman Maiwa, to take her son's revenge, her son was killed in the most hideous way.

Good afternoon, this may be a little random, but I have had an experience due to your shop!
I popped in a couple of weeks ago and picked-up a book for my grandma related to WW1 and Castle Donington. Through her reading of the book, we discovered that it had some relatives in it. We found out more information about our family history and how they passed in the war. I used this information to undertake some online/Facebook research and I am now in contact with some Austrian relatives.
